Six days in Lisbon on foot, in frames

Lisbon is steep. Much of the best of it, the Alfama, the viewpoints and the castle, sits at the top of a climb on smooth stone pavements that get slippery in the rain.

Our planner's six days lean into that: two day trips out of the city, Sintra and the Arrábida coast, a coastal walk at Cascais, and a lot of walking in between, broken up by pastries.
